The first episode in a series of 360° videos, produced with the support of Northern Ireland Screen’s Ulster-Scots Broadcast Fund, takes a look around the Ards Peninsula in Donaghadee, a picturesque town on the northeast part of the peninsula. In this episode we tell the story of how boatloads of Scottish emigrants began their new lives in Ulster at this very place. This period has become known as The Dawn of the Ulster-Scots.
