‘Tell Me Where You’re Frae Withoot Telling Me Where You’re Frae’ sees poets and performers from all over Northern Ireland celebrate the Ulster-Scots language and showcase their local surroundings. Each poet and/or performance writes and acts out a unique piece of spoken word poetry that encapsulates a favourite place or hidden gem in the area they’re from. By the final sequence, they reveal to the viewer the place they call home. A different location is featured in each short episode taking viewers anywhere from Cullybackey right across to the Ards Peninsula. Each spoken word not only celebrates Ulster-Scots language, but will touch on heritage, culture, authenticity, tradition and contemporary life.
